Default I doubt your information is correct....

The part which fits the 2002 and later Audi A6 is different in shape than for the 2001 and before. The newer part uses a larger cutout. Older is a small cutout. The change was simultaneous with the change from milky white to clear lens.

I can't address the A4 and TT models, but I would suspect that similar changes may have occurred there.

One reason I didn't buy smoked or crystal side markers is that no supplier has gotten this detail right. I don't trust them until they can get their facts straight.

Default I agree with Stoney, from personal experience...

I ordered a pair, claimed to fit 97-03 model years, from lightlens.com which they say are the only ones they have ever found available.

I don't know when Audi changed them, but these do not fit my 2002 4.2, and use a different locking mechanism.

LightLens said they would refund me once they were returned. Still waiting, but hopeful.

Buyer beware!

Paul

Default I too was sucked in by lightlens.com. But I was refunded the purchase price minus shipping. They

have a very tight return policy. I'll leave it to your imagination as to why a reputable business needs one that tight. I should have known. ;-( -- My fault--

Default You got it Stoney. I just got a set from PUMA

after they swore they were correct for the 02, and even the GD box states only up to 01. I am hoping they just picked the wrong box and actually have the 02 style as they said they did.

Oh well, it's only $25 plus $7 shipping, and I know they'll refund if they can't fill the order properly. A lot less $ than TTstuff, BTW.
