...and don't forget about the issue before that. According to toast, AMS did not crimp on
a particular hose that fed a particular fluid to cool the engine : ) Not sure what the status of that issue/case is but he was without his car for an extended period of time as a result of that as well. To be fair, some think that the resulting damage was his fault because he drove down a hill before turning off the car. Really a whole can of worms here. Point is, I don't think he ever got to drive the car all that much.

It was a can of worms. Odd how the car ran for almost 200 miles while under custom software

STI, or even wrx
wrx is going for under $21k right now. STI is better (and better looking), but around $32k.
re wrx: car handles very nicely (turning ratio, etc.), motor is very smooth for a blown 4cyl.
not a luxo car though...

Like I said - can o' worms. I just try to present both sides of the story (overview).
If people are really interested, they better do ALL the research and form their own opinion.
