Were can I get the European/Orange rear tail lights for my
almost new '01 4.2. I like they way they look better that the smoked or clear. I'll be picking up the car on Friday. It's blk/blk, only 23k miles with every option. Also could someone explain to the gaic or giac chip and tip chip? Where can I get them. And I want that '02 exhaust look, any suggestion and does anyone have some samples of thier exhaust. I'll have a new log in as soon as I get it.

1. Are we talking orange lenses or bulbs?
2. GIAC has affiliated installers all over the country, check out the listing on their website. You can also mail in your ECU box for installation if you can handle haveing a down vehicle. The taillights with amber turn signals are on all 2002 and newer, and are direct fit to all C5 A6s.
I put the newer red/amber/white taillights on my 99 A6 Avant and they were a direct fit. Only 4 bolts, and it took about 5 minutes/light to change them.

You can get them from the dealer, or ......
Find someone who prefers the red/white lights and wants to trade you. Or maybe someone who has put smoked taillights on their car will sell you their original taillights.
