$1800 for Tbelt/seal/tentioner water pump & cam adjuster seal?!

Hi, a shop (not dealer) charge me $1800 for all those i mention. Is it ok? Do i need to do all that? Its leaking for sure and i have 67k miles on my 00 A6 avant.

Mine was $1,700 at the dealer's over a year ago before I went Indie (2.7T) I'd say $600 too much.

And that's for Northeast Prices. An Indie in a less hi-cost of living area should be even less... Mine was done when the water pump started leaking at only 59,000 mi.

how much will dealer charge for cam adjuster seal replacement (In LA area)?

The guy charge me $1200 for tbelt/water pump replacement. but $600 to replace cam adjuster seal. Does it really that expansive to change? they said the parts are cheap, it's all labor....
