Well done Henry. Some questions...

I think I want to mount my Nav+ GALA "defeat" switch and my CD Changer/Phatbox switch (2 total) inside the card holder. I only need two small toggle switches from radioshack to do this...and I think I can mount them both in the back of the card holder tray...and still keep coins in the tray (I love to use this tray for coins etc).

my quesions:
A) Do I really need to remove the radio to remove the coin tray? I thought the trim piece could be removed without pulling out the radio (per CL's pix etc). I can easily snake the wire from behind the coin tray to the drivers' lower dash etc.

I assume you removed the radio because you needed to snake all kinds of wires to power your Passport.
