Need some help...strange harmonic noise

I noticed over the last few days a harmonic noise coming when I'm making a low speed (<20mph) turn to the left. It sounds very much like a slight rub on the brake rotor that causes it to "sing". At this point, I am assuming it is some corrosion on the rotor that is rubbing the pad (we've had some snow and salt on the road). I'm want to make sure it's not a bearing. I've had bad bearings before, but they didn't make this kind of noise.

I'm just curious if anyone else ran into this and suggestions of what to check before starting down the pads/rotors path. By the way, the car has 73k on it.

An easy way to pretty much rule out the bearing is to jack up the corner

and try to wiggle the wheel by gripping it from either side. Ever so slight play is acceptable. Tires might do that, depending on age/inflation/type......

I take it, that it's sound, and not a vibration you feel? Can also sometimes be axle or CV joint.
