Been wading in the archives for a while - can you all help a 2.7T allroader with a timing belt...

replacement procedure? Somebody must have written up something of a procedure or tech-article with pics etc. but I can't find one. And yes I checked Stoney's links as well.

I know this isn't a 2.7T but it may help.

Thanks! I know there has to be a similar write up somewher for the 2.7T.

and yes i will be armed with Bentley, ETKA, VAG-COM and everything else that I have in the garage.

timing belt help...

You can use the V6 write ups in the tech section. I would get a bentley CD. Worth it for torque specs and factory tool #'s. I believe the tools I have are the same for 2.7T (tools 3242,3212,3391). Check the manual though, it may be one of the T#'s for the cam bar.

Get the Bentley CD

If you plan on doing any work on your car a must is a vag.com software and a Bentley CD manual. I have done everthing from timing belts to total supension repairs and cam adjuster seals with these manual.

Bently, check. VAG-COM, check. ETKA, check.

I have it all and could probably proceed on my own, but sometimes there are real world tips/tricks/hints that come across in communities like AW that are not conveyed by a shop manual.
