Newest Nav unit...anyone have experience with this?

I'd be leery of a seller on ebay with no feedback history...especially high dollar items

Yeah, but never gets answered

I heard this guy sells a plug and play cable that allows it to be easily hooked to any bose symphony MY 2000 or later. I am leary of these claims. He seems to always sell them?

I would definately be leery of that

Remember the little box some forum members were building to display more info in the DIS a few years ago? They got their prototype working in B5 and C5 cars, but couldn't get it to work in cars built after 2002 because of the way they used the CAN bus. Given that these DVD navs are from post 2002 cars, it seems likely that they use the newer CAN bus, making it seem unlikely they would plug and play into a C5 A6.
