Has anybody here bought the painted RS6 spoiler on E-bay

I really want to get one for the 4.2 but am curious if the quality of the paintjob and fitment is good. They list them for $224 painted I believe. Also do they hold on well enough with the 3m adhesive only?

i bought an unpainted one for $40, cost another $40 to paint, the 3m tape works fine!

I got mine from directcartoys

The paint (Ming Blue) was an exact match and the adhesive tape works well. Just make sure you stick it on properly the first time.

spoilerdepot...exact paintmatch decent fitment with very strong 3m adhesive

There are certain portions of the spoiler that do not make direct contact with the decklid. It could be because I put it on myself, it could be because my decklid is bent, or it could be because the spoiler is not exact. You can't tell standing beside it. It comes with screws that would probably guarantee a more secure fit.

Definitely a high quality product with an EXCELLENT paint job. No orange peel, no overspray, very good job. Paint is warranted for life.
