Has anyone documented APR's Power Claims ???
I am new to audi/turbo world but have a great deal of experience with other performance cars (blown and naturally aspirated). The A6 2.7T 6speed I just bought came equipped with an APR 93 chip. When I visit their website and see the dyno claims for the chip, it makes me WOL (Wonder Out Loud). So I call them up and ask how they could ever take this small cubed engine and turn 250 ponies into 318 and torque to an outrageous 382. The response was "We believe the stated numbers to be low by around 5%". I said "gimme a freakin break" and he said "Yup".
So, has anyone out there been able to verify these claims thru dyno or track time slips?
I am wishing they are right but still holding my breath.

As others say, search the S4 forum. Also keep in mind that numbers can change depending on
car, fuel, altitude, humidity, and type of dyno used. Any numbers you get, apply only to that car, on that day, on that dyno. Most tuners guesstimate the driveline losses, so it's an inexact science.
The factory dyno is a MAHA. If you want to compare gains over stock and don't want to run your own baseline dyno test, make sure you find tuning results from testing on a MAHA. The other factors still apply, but you'll be one step closer to comparing apples to apples.

213 whp, 223 lb-ft TQ at Wheels
APR 93 Oct Chipped Program (v 5.0)- Stage 1
270 whp, 322 lb-ft TQ at wheels
That is a gain of 57 whp, and 99 lb-ft TQ at wheels
