Where to get 2005 A6 to go with my TT

Where to get 2005 A6 to go with my TT

Looking for loaded 2005 A6, w/Nav in black or grey with cream interior, Denver dealers seem to have none available.

Also any idea on price that should be paid???

There are a couple in KC, but I am not sure the pricing would be any good.

Only one dealer in town.

Since you know what you want, and the local dealers have none,

sounds like you need to order a car or have your dealer arrange for a dealer trade outside the area. Pick the salesperson you like best (preferably an Audi Brand Specialist - every dealer has one, and they are trained by AoA) and hammer out a deal. See the C6 forum, but I don't think anybody has shown hard proof of much discount if any. Sure they can claim they got a large discount, but the proof is in the contract.

New car + short supply + you want something specific = cards in the dealer's favour.

Better chance to get a "deal" on a custom order, no?

Dealer does not have to floor plan the car and its turned as soon as it arrives. Helps salesperson w/monthly quota too.

Thoughts...

In September, I approached my dealer about a very specific '05 A4 (3.0, USP - blue/black, loaded, but no nav). They didn't have any USPs, but he did try to put me in an '05 A4 3.0 w/ sport pckge. When I declined, it took him all of about 10 mins to find 10-12 3.0 USPs that fit the bill within 300 miles. A week later, he had worked out a trade with the other dealership and I got the car at invoice + ~$750. He also didn't charge me for the rear airbags that the car had as I didn't want them in the first place.

Hopefully, you can still get in on an '05 at a reasonable price. Make your dealer do some leg work!
