Adding Xenon levelling sensors to non-Xenon A6
I'm updating my '02 A6, replacing the stock halogen lamps with a pair of ecode Xenon lamps. The lamps have the self levelling motors...however I do not believe that my car has the sensors mounted in the rear.
Has anybody else done this upgrade? I know I can run the lamps without the self levelling setup. However, I occasionally load the car and I'd like to have the setup if possible.
I found an article on VWVortex describing a similar upgrade to a Golf. And I found a late model wrecked wagon that has the sensors and brackets available. Just don't know about the wiring...whether the full wiring will be available throughout the harness or whether I'll have to run wires from the rear of the car up to the headlamps and splice into the connectors...

Time to pull out the Bentley manual...and start looking at wiring schematics....
I've loaded up the trunk of my wagon with 300 lbs of scuba equipment...and never had a problem with other drivers.
