Default So I'm reading the latest Car and Driver magazine,

flipping through, skimming the articles. What should I spy but an article about the new V8 version of the Grand Prix. "...the front tires will be larger than the rears. That's right, the fronts will be 255/45R-18s on eight-inch wide forged aluminum wheels and the rears will be smaller 225/50/18s riding on seven-inch wide wheels.......GM hopes to decrease understeer and create a balanced chassis."

Just something to think about when so many are looking to create the tough looking but dynamically inferior rearward bias staggered look on their nose heavy Audi. For those that don't know, Audi did run with wider tires up front in racing, but that got banned. They don't do it in road going cars because of tire rotation/wear and spare tire issues.

Default ha, ha! It concerns Audis and the oft discussed handling improvements vs style choices.

BTW, you're missing the babes, booze, guns, cameras, and stereo part of your AWOT message ;-)

Default Bad issue for Pontiac. First they have the backward Grand Prix (with a pushrod..

... V8 mounted sideways with an ancient 4 speed automatic. Then the GTO gets beaten by the new Mustang (which I think is a bit of a screw job since the only thing the Mustang does better is look good).

Finally, the new "G6" gets reviewed and it looks like yet another GM compromise job. Take a quality European platform, put a ****-poor GM drivetrain into it, add floppy sponge seats so you don't alienate the current Grand Am owners, and viola!, you have crap! We Build Excrement! Pontiac!

Default I've driven several prototypes of that car. They are pretty entertaining.

I wish my A6 made engine noise like that car does, but I would pass on the torque steer. I believe they run low 6 six second zero to sixty times.
