Car won't start sometimes...

Usually happens afterschool lately the temp is about 60-65 degrees out. I turn the ignition cars turns over and stops. I try again it starts up normally. Should i be concerned?

Odd, should start on first try...

I would say that something is not right. If I were you, I would get that checked out before you get stranded somewhere.

My MIL isnt on though.... Would that still be a problem? Checked for faults with VAG nothin

Are you sure it isn't the battery?

You might check age of the battery, A6's consume a battery every two years or so from what I can tell. Just a thought...

Had something similar once. Starter cable partially eaten by a beaver! Have it checked carefully or

you will get stranded (as it happened to me).

Just a litlle bite in the starter cable is enough to create this type of problem. This happens a lot in Luxembourg so when my mechanic heard about it he checked the computer and since there was no error code he immediately checked the entire cable and found the cut in it.
