How to loosen the backseat ?

First post! welcome! Grab it under the cup holders and pull up, you may have to pull
HARD, once that pops up then you will probably have to go to the sides and pull them up. Depending on your year, watch out for the wires under there, + you will probably have to disconnect some. Good luck!

It feels like you are going to break something, but just keep pulling up...
it will pop! If you have heated seats, just make sure you disconnect the wires. They are tucked into the foam cushion. Good luck!
