hp gain from mufflers?

hp gain from mufflers?

You guys think if I got some custom mufflers installedin my 2.7 chipped will gain some perforamnce? and I'm only talking about mufflers not the cat back... any brand you guys have used for good sound also?

Which engine size? Maybe a 10HP gain for 4.2V8, not sure about the 6 cylinder motors.

Some tuners (ex: Joe Hoppen) claim lots of HP with their chip, exhaust and filter as a package.

I don't know about a brand A chip with brand B exhaust. Good luck.
