Water in passenger foot well--not from evaporator drain!
Today I was out running errands and stopped in the carwash to get the winter roads off my car (I know, I know...hand wash only). When I returned home, I started unloading the car...WTF? Here's what my foot well looked like:

Obviously this was NOT from the evap drain. My immediate suspicion was water from the car wash had made it's way through the pollen filter and into the well. So, I opened the hood, pulled the cover off the battery compartment. Low and behold...the pollen filter is SOAKED...water down into the fresh air intake.

It is my belief that this is probably not uncommon to have happen. It most likely was the drying blowers that forced water in between the window and the plastic trim that forced water into the filter.
Fair warning to all! I guess I won't be going through the car wash anymore and will have to do it the right way from now on.
I also discovered yesterday I have similar water leak problem but not at front passenger but the rear passenger! I also discovered it after a car wash - but i wash my car by hand and the hose is NOT a pressured hose! I was also scratching my head but this explanation is probably not suitable in my case - anyone else has any clues?
