bmw versus audi service in same dealer..
I drive 2001 a6, and my wife drives bmw 3.25i.We bought the cars from same dealer.( poul miller, nj sells both brands) I paid $136 for basic oil change ( which I still thing its a rip off) my wife paid $270 for bmw for the same service. I had a big argument at the service department at bmw poul miller, they did nothing but giving me the same bully list of the things they did on the car like they were not done on my audi. I guess they think bmw owners are bunch of rich idiots who would not care where the money goes...
any thoughts???

thanks..

Needless to say, if I didn't have has much experience with autos and repairs that I have acquired over the years, I could have been convinced to spend over $1,000 that was unnecessary. Nearly all dealers make the bulk of their profit from the service department, so be wairy of ANYTHING that they say "needs attention".
