Never-Ending Quest for Rims Update: Bolt Patterns
I heard that some of the Mercedes bolt patterns are the same as my A6 so I could look for rims that fit Mercedes and put them on my car... What other manufacturers/cars have the same bolt pattern, etc as a 2.8 A6?

5x112. Offset should be around 32 to 38 to work - 35 is ideal. Others may need spacers to work-edit
Just do a non-forum specific search for "offset wheels 2.8" and you will get almost 5500 hits. Many about wheels that will fit your car, along with pictures, etc.
Virtually anything you might ask in regards to tuning or modding your car, has probably been discussed. I suggest you search, and then if you don't find what you are looking for, ask the forum. A lot of old timers who have this information, have posted it so many times they just don't feel like doing it any more.

Wouldn't that depend on the width of the wheel? ;-)
