Won't Start ....

I just had the throttle body recall done Friday (98 2.8Q). Tonight it just cranks over and over, tries to fire on about 2 cylinders, but won't start. Always started perfectly before.

Any thoughts on the cause?

Precisely why I will not go in for the TB recall.

Sounds like something was not put back correctly or came apart. The question is: when you take it back to the dealer will they diagnose it as something TB related or some random problem that just happened to crop up right after the TB recall.

Well, the TB recall including some breather hose supposedly also fixes the "leaks oil in the winter but not in the summer problem", if you live in a cold climate. So we will find out about that soon. Anyway, I went back out and cranked hard for about 60 seconds straight, she started rough and then seemed to run fine and restart again after that. The cruise control doesn't work right either. So back to the finest Audi dealer in Nebraska we will go.
