The 2.7 went to the track today...

Had a day at the race track today. My fastest time was 15.37, I raced a silverado ss and won by a tenth. I have an 01 A6, 90K, and APR chip.....not that anyyone here cares but there was a bunch of subies there and one STI with over 500 HP at the wheels. Cool to see, running mid 10's.

The A6 is not exactly the ideal strip car; but, it's hella fun anyway, isn't it?!? :-)

Care also :), it's always great to see what other worked cars are running..

...to me it makes no difference whether it's Subaru, Mitsubishi or Honda. It takes alot of time and tuning to drop every second off the 1/4 mile times.

15.37 what APR software are you running? That seems a bit slow?

15's are a bit off the pace for a 2.7, even a stock one-->

what was the trap speed, and the intermediate times and speeds as well.
A stock tip could run in the high 14's to about 15.1, while stock 6 spds (myself included) have run from 14.4-14.7.
A tip with a chip should be in the 14.5-14.7 range, while chipped 6 spds (again, myself included) have run from 13.5-13.8.
