Clunk going over bumps
I've owned more Honda Accords than I care to remember and it doesn't sound like the CV joints, like it did on the old Accords. It makes no clicking sounds when I turn, etc.
Any thoughts?
Thanks all, glad to be a part of the board!
Their next suggestion was the sway bar end links but since that isn't covered under recall I did it myself (quite easy and cheap at $60 for the parts).
What I found was that simply inspecting the end links isn't good enough. Even if the boots around the link bolts are still good the inside could be worn and you wouldn't know it. The stock ones on mine looked fine and as I moved them around it was easy to move but there was no apparent play that I thought would cause a clunk. I replaced them anyhow since the parts were paid for and the clunk was gone.
Do you have the ECS website? www.ecs.com is some computer hardware site.
Like the others have mentioned, Audis like front end components, so its worth a look.
