2 questions - CV boot warranty and front end rattle
Our 2002 2.7t has a very cracked cv boot on the front pass side. It is so cracked that if I pulled on it a little I would be able to see grease. The drivers side is not much better. Is this covered under the factory warranty or will they wait until it cracks all the way? We only have 2k miles of factory warranty left.
I also have a rattle on both sides of the front. Could this be the brake calipers? They make a little noise when I yank on them. The pads and rotors are new but the springs are original. A visual inspection of the front suspension parts shown no obvious failures.
