Replaced tbb and bpvs this past saturday what a piece of cake ....
I'm not sure if the car feels different in my head or if it actually feels different. The tbb had a tear in it, it was pretty small but I guess under wot the split was probally bigger.
I also cleaned TB with a ccr tb cleaner and a cotton swab. There was a whole lot of carbon.
I also used a zip tie on the sensor on the top of the boot does anyone think that should be replaced with a oem clamp?

The sensor on the top of the boot is also held in by the bracket.
At least on my car (tip) the metal bracket holds the sensor in pretty firmly. I did the same thing (the OEM clamp is unique and I had nothing to replicate it).
It is an easy job, although it was some work wrestling the TBB off the up-pipes.
