XM question, or high fidelity bluesville...
FM modulators give me the creeps- they just strip away too much sound. The tape adapter sounds infinitely better than the modulator, but the tape adapter makes for one ugly installation! What are my options? I have the Bose deal w/ built in CD changer. Is there ANYWAY to run my XM Roady on a line in?

Just went through this myself. Ended up with Blitzsafe and am very happy. ->
The direct wired FM modulator sounded terrible to me and like you, the tape sounded much better but I didn't want the wire hanging out of the head unit.
I tried the P.I.E. adapter (sold by Crutchfield) and it was much better, but was a little muddy. I couldn't get the EQ right.
I switched out to a Blitzsafe and it sounds great. Blitz has two versions: one plugs into the back of the radio and one plugs into the CD changer round connector in the trunk.
