Default New Track Wheels...only one came in but I'm concerned about size

The 18's on the car are 225/40/18s. But compared to the 245/45/17's WOW. Look how big these things are! I'm glad the car only has stock sport springs and no coilovers...I wouldn't think there would be anyway they'd fit. I won't know until the others come in tonight if I need spacers...but it's going to be TIGHT!!

By the way...here's a shot of the Falken RT-615 tires, latest SCCA approved street class tire.

if you had coilovers you would be able to adjust the ride height...........

I'm running 245/40/17's with no rub issues and I run pretty low. IMHO you won't have a problem

Sure - most with coilovers go taller than stock. Maybe because he went from undersized to oversized?

But the profile height is 40 vs. 45? We'll see later how they fit!

Default I understand the're not the same. There is about 1/2" a side or 1" on the diameter

difference between the two. I don't know how low you are; but, my 'guess' is you won't have a problem. Try them and see.

Default Speedo will be off a bit too, but if they're track tires, who cares! =)

With 245x40's I'm a little more than 1% over stock rolling diameter, so I figure that the speedo's pretty accurate until about 80 mph.
