Good news, bad news. PaulW, a little advice?

After a month of trying, it appears we have a diagnosis on my transmission. Diagnostics sho low line pressure in several parts of the valve body.

Shop says that my options are either a rebuilt from ZF or my transmission gets sent to Level 10 for a rebuild. Tough call. If the price is the same, I will lean a BIT toward Level 10 - although I have some doubts.

So what's the lesson in this? I got my transmission fluid changed at 25,000 miles, yet the transmission fails at 53,000. Dumb luck?

my tranny went at 60,000 miles... so it's more of a when.. not if... i say.. LEVEL 10

Of course yours had a little help from dropping to 2nd while doing 60 :-)
