Paging the great Boston...
Disregard my last email. Question for you, what size magnaflow tips do i need to weld onto my exhaust? Im going to the muffler place with a buddy today to do his cat-back and im gonna see if they have any tips that i can use for the A6. Thanks man!

If you're so sick, you shouldn't be going to the exh. shop. :p btw, inlet dia. is 2.25, length..
will depend on how and where the stock turndown is cut. Though they will need to be between 6.75"-7.5".
Also, the stock mufflers/piping are heavy as all hell, consider getting rid of that too.

yeah, Cargasm said it, 2.25" inlet diameter, and you can get any size tip you want. Mine are 4" round, angle cut, but if I could do it all over again, I would go with 3.5". Factory exposed exhaust tip is about 3" diameter.
Just make sure the person doing the work understands that you want the tip centered in the cutout properly, and that you want the cutouts to be symmetrical. I have seen a few hack jobs. The guy that did mine was meticulous, and they are very uniform.
