I would really like to keep it but the buyout seems high. Audi Financial is offering 5.9% for 48 months (payment would actually go up ~$50.00/month). Not having much luck negotiating a reduced purchase price (gap insurance in full effect) or Audi performing scheduled/needed maintenance. Details below…opinions welcomed!!! (pic of our state's highest mountain for views)

Seems an OK deal but you can do much better, especially since there is so many miles. I got an '01 4.2 with less miles for less than that two months ago.

 

Turn it back in. Of course they just want to sell me a new car. I'll call Carerra Motors today and see if they'll help out.

 

That buyback number is way to high for a '01 with that milage.

 

hard to part with a car in such good condition though. I have a few weeks to haggle and decide.

As for the car... buyback is high especially with 67K. However, given that you know the maintenance history, it's a tossup. Looks like you've got some maintenance coming which will eat most of your rebate card.

You may be able to find better financing outside of Audi Financial. I would say if you can keep the payment around the same price to go for it. To trade and get another similar car you are looking at a fair cash outlay in addition to not knowing the car's history.

Also be sure to give Matrix a call in Portland for the maintenance. You'll likely save over Sunset's prices and will certainly receive better service.

 

Turn it in..then strike a deal! Get the lease company out of the picture!
