S6 bagde question
I´ve been looking for the rear S6 bagde but my stealer can´t find the right one for me. When he´s looking in ETKA he only finds the parallelogram-shaped "S" bagde in red/chrome and not the S6 type similar to the rear badges on RS4 or RS6. Anyone have the item no for this badge?
I´ve seen it on ebay and similar places but it would be more simple to get it from the stealer since it´s a matter of 20 bucks or so.

in the U.S. the "S6" badge only exist in Avant. have the stealer look into Avant catalog. it's about $30 or so and includes the stylized "S" and "6" in one sticker package. if you're really desperate or the stealer is really (un)talented, I'll dig up the part number up if I can get my hands on it (it'll take few days)...

Thanks! I´ll ask the stealer to look a third time...
It looks like the debadging person used a screwdriver or sth because I have a deep scratch where the badge should be. It´s too deep to rub away so I thought I´d simply cover it with a new badge.

No worries, I have plenty of "evidence" to back the "insult" up.
100 bucks for a washer pump
400 bucks estimate for a sealing ring change (that I ended up doing myself for 25 bucks in parts and 1,5h work)
600 bucks estimate for changing 2 CV-joint boots (did it myself for 75bucks in material and 2,5 h)
250 bucks quotation for front brake pads (no work)
290 bucks for lower control arm (bought Meyle parts at other place for 120)
the list goes on.
I don´t care too much about their prices though since I do most of the work myself and find cheaper parts elsewhere. I also know that my local dealer not is the one setting the prices, but they are a part of the conspiracy ;-) So as long as spare parts prices (at least for high volume parts) are kept at the current level, I´ll keep using the term "stealer".
