bulb light keeps coming on the dash and beeping
I had a left brake light out, changed the bulb. Now when I drive the car it will beep every few minutes. So last night I checked and all the lights are on and working. I looked at all the bulbs in the rear and noticed one of them on the other side was a dual filament, I changed that to a singe like all the rest in the back. I started my car and again the bulb indicator is coming up on the dash with an X through it and it beeped. I did not drive it to see if it would beep every few minutes like it has been. If all the bulbs are working why would this keep coming up and beeping every few minutes? Do I need to reset anything after changing the bad bulb?

when I replaced my brake light bulb, the beep went away right away w/o resetting anything (other than restarting the car, maybe). I agree with others and it's probably the type of light bulbs

Did you use the European bulbs?...US bulbs may fit and work but have diff wattages...
...which can irritate the AutoCheck system. Compare the wattage stamping on the old bulb to the new one, I'm betting the new one is 2 or so watts more. HTH.

Same problem although......I've NEVER replaced any of the lights since I purchased the car and ALL of the lights are working correctly (verified about a dozen times now). The dash indicator came on for the first time about four weeks ago and reappears every time I turn the lights on.
I can't for the life of me figure it out.....grrrrr.
