Thanks for the quick answer. That's what I thought too. HOWEVER, when I asked the tiredirect guys over the phone, he said that it might not because of the bigger(fatter) size of the brakes in A6 quattro vs. A4. eventhough the size is going up from a stock 16-inches, it might stick out more than the stock rims due to the brakes. did you (or anyone) actually tried this? are they definately 100% interchangeable, regardless of manufacturers?

I've swapped wheels between my A4 and my A6, with no problems...

The brakes are the same between a 99 A6 and all years of B5 A4.

The OEM ET45 version fit over the LARGE HP2 caliper of the 2.7T, which is larger than your brakes

...so, it should be fine as long as the offset is not higher than ET45. Most "replica" wheels will have ET35, so it should be fine.

...sounds like it should work just fine, but did you need the BFH to make the wheels fit?

Nope. But, I've needed the BFH to get wheels OFF the car..

Darn rust..
