Has anyone ever cracked their side view mirror and gotten the green goo on their paint?
If so, curious to know what happened to the paint. Did it require professional repair or just DIY cleaning? My friend had her side view mirror on her new Lexus RX cracked/hit while parked overnight. She goes to dealership for the mirror repiar ($450) but the service dept. can't get the goo off. They send her to the body shop they do business with for them to to do it gratis. Shop tells her the goo has corroded the paint and it will cost $1600 to repair!!!!
