fuel pump replacement
I'm considering getting a mid 90's A6 if the price is right. The fuel pump is bad. How difficult is it to replace (I'm assuming it's in the tank). What's a good source for this part?

It is in the tank but for the older cars, there is the C4 forum.........
the worst thing about replacing the pump is the fuel itself - make sure the tank in drained by syphoning it as dry as you can.
