Lets see you exposed!
Exhaust tips that is. Cant decide which Magnaflow type of tip to weld onto the a6. I like the double wall round-straight cut PN: 35126 or the rolled angel cut PN: 35121. Lets see pics of your tips! If you guys dont mind please state the inlet (i believe its only 2.25, length and diameter! Thanks!

here are the basic steps...
Drop the exhaust
Cut the angle-down tips (leave enough to weld new tips)
Weld on the new tips
Paint welds with zinc primer to avoid rust
Mark center of new tip on lower valence
Do series of cuts until the tip just fits into the opening
Raise the exhaust
Mark around the tip for final cut for at least 1/4" clearance
Drop exhaust again
Make final cut
Line with door edge trim (black or chrome)
Raise exhaust
Done!
I had a local body shop tech do it for me, and he does great work. If you want to come up from NJ for a day, he can do it for you too!!!

How much would he charge?
Im gonna order the Magnaflow tips today, also i have s6 blades comming too! You should be proud of me boston! Where did you get that chrome trim? Ebay im guessing, bargain?

Chrome trim is common door edge stuff from local auto parts store...

I think I am missing someone else, but I am not sure. I think everyone has been pleased with the results!
