Heavy duty tie rods and 245's= toasted tires?

Heavy duty tie rods and 245's= toasted tires?
I got the ECS heavy duty tie rod ends that are bigger and 245/40/18 Kumho's and lost both front tires after 5 k miles due to rubbing through on the 3/4" inside portion of the tire. They turn fine when stationary so I can see why nobody caught it during the mount but the closest thing to the tire that could do this is the tie rod end and it must be flexing under load? Anybody else have anything close to this happen? My new tires look like shredded wheat on the inside.

Bizarre.....
I had an alignment right after I put the tie rods in but this is more of a rubbing issue that is grinding the inside 1/2-3/4" inch of tire off. More on the top of the sidewall than the tread area. Any other ideas?

Ctrl Arms OEM new, Wheels TSW 18's 32 offset....
HR coilovers dropped pretty low. I'm thinking the lower ride height is pushing the bottom of the ball joint closer to the tire making it rub. I just looked more and it's gotta be the ball joint. I'll tear it apart tomorrow to see for sure.

Is your car lowered at all?...
If so take a look at the very inside of the tire and let me know if see anything wierd. I swear I had no indication until my tire went flat. Only then did I notice the problem. You technically should be about 8mm worse off then me not considering the tire shape.
