Rim offset for my 2001 A6 2.7T?

I just purchased an 2001 A6 2.7T & want to put some 18" chrome 5 spoke rims on... what offset do I need to clear my front calipers? Any info. on this would be highly appreciated.

I have not selected a rim set, as of yet - I wanted to do some homework on what fits and what does not before I made a purchase - any suggestions on rims?

Budget? Are you sure you want chrome? Your opt's in chrome ...

are going to be few and far between.
