Exposed MF Tips!
Alas not done by the famous East Coast Billy (and maybe it shows), this was a total DIY effort - with some help. First of all thanks to; BD for inspiration, Kimchee for process, TeddyBGame for adapter guidance, and Yogee for cheap place to buy MF. Worked up the guts to cut the valance with my new dremel tool (good excuse to get a new tool), had my Uncle Drew weld it up and trimmed it with small diameter vacuum line.

Out of pocket was <$70 total + 6pack to Uncle Drew. I love the look and I KNOW this is getting me +10-20 HP

Ok, thats it...now I'm DEFINETLY doing exposed tips on my red 2.7!
I wasn't sure if I like the clean look, or the more sporty look...your pics just sold me.
Where did you get the tips, and which model/part number are they?

I'm also debating between the M5 or the RS6/S-line spoiler...I LOVE the RS6 one, but I'm not sure it'll go with my 'skinny' fenders. Although the door blades do look good, IMO. Decisions, decisions.

Again, it looks GREAT! Just check to see that the exhaust doesn't touch (melt) the valence/trim...as the exhaust can expand/contract between temps.

OHH WOW! You make it look so easy, gonna have to do mine now that's it!
wayred4.2 it looks great and using some vac line as the trim is a fab idea. Just need to source some decent tips here in the UK! unless MF has a distributor here?

So far (a few weeks...took me a while to post), and even though my set up is "high and tight" I have not had any cooking of the trim or valance.
BTW, IMHO you should go with the RS6 spoiler, just looks a lot better, have seen them on 2.7s and they look good - go for it!!
