Who's going to the ACNA Las Vegas event on Thurs? Anyone interested in a caravan from SoCal?
Was thinking of taking 330->18->38->247 (through San Bernardino National Forest / Big Bear) to Barstow, and taking the standard route up from there. For anyone living south of the 15/210 junction, should add about an hour and fifteen minutes / 40 miles to the drive. IMO, worth it to escape even one boring mile of the 15.
BTW, registration for the event's still open. If you're on the fence, <a href="http://ronalusa.com/06lvdriving.html" target="_blank">now's the time to come to your senses and register</a>.
Figure on a Thursday morning, there shouldn't be too much traffic going up the hill...
