Default Drove a Charger SRT-8 today
Holy CRAP! It was a bit "rugged" compared to the fit and finish of an Audi, but it was an absolute beast in terms of speed. 6.1L of normally aspirated goodness. I'm not so sure I'd be willing to go that route instead of the A6, but it is tempting, especially given how cheap they are.

Default I drove the SHO V6 with 250 HP on Saturday. I thought the power was good but
the overall handling and feel of the car was below by 1998 A6.

Default Heh, this is a bit different than an SHO....425hp and 420ft/lbs right off the showroom floor...
well equipped in the high-30's. Extremely tempting....

Default There's something special about American Iron with big honkin' V8's. They sound great and go fast.
It's all about the testosterone. They can be fun and sometimes attract the wrong attention but typically do not make for a good "business" car.

Default my only gripe with the charger is that its a freackin' sedan...
in no way does it resemble the origional charger. although power-wise im sure it can roll with the best of 'em. i just think they made/marketed the car for the wrong reason, it seems like they want to sell it to "average joe families" not car enthusiasts.

Dodge if you're listening PLEASE make a MT coupe!!

Default time for my plug
the charger SRT-8 is fast...so if you think that's powerful.. the CTS-V is even faster. It's lighter and you can row your own gears. I miss the V. The days of pulling on E39 M5s, E46 m3s, b6/7 S4s, 300C SRT-8s, Charger SRT-8s, C32 AMGs, C55 AMGs... =(

And the V handles!!

But it's no Audi.

The problem with the V is the cost. The SRT-8 is less than $40k.
