Default The driver seat moves all the way up as soon as I unlock..Do I need to reprog the key?

I have gone through Stoneys links and found a few posts regarding reprog teh key. I got 2 keys from original owner.
Is there a way to reprog both keys so when I use mine, the memory function sets everything for me and when wifeys uses hers the seat goes back to her position?
Sorry if this has been asked, but Stoneys link didnt address this exact issue..although I am sorry if I overlooked it.
Thank you

Default You need to reprogram the memory position. IIRC set it to were you want it

then press and hold the memory button and what number like 1 or 2 at the same time for 5 or 10 seconds.

It sounds like they're encoded backwards. You can either swap fobs, or reprogram them both. I just did this the other day, and if you're programming the keys using the one key in the ignition and the other in the door method, the second key you program is #1 for the seat memory.

You could just swap fobs...

Default Very easy to sync the key with seat/mirror memory...

it is in the manual, but here are the basic steps for you...

First, set the seat and mirrors where you want them. Next, make sure you program the button on the door FIRST by pressing the M and one of the numbered buttons (like #1 for you). You should hear a faint click when it is set.

Once that is programmed, press and hold the #1 button, then press and hold the unlock button on a keyfob until you hear the faint click again. Voila! That key is now set for seat memory position #1.

Have the holder of key #2 position the seat and mirrors so his/her position, and follow the same steps, only press #2 instead.

Once those are set, the seat and mirrors will go to the memory position of the respective key holder.

Default Yes, you can do exactly that, do you have the handbook for the car?

I had my car set up like that for me and my girlfriend. Very handy. Resets seat, door mirrors, etc.

When programming the keys, the number of times you press the unlock button is what memory position the key is sync'd to.

For example, during the programming procedure, pressing the unlock button just once (all that is required to program it) syncs it for memory position one...

two times= position 2
three times= position 3
four times= no seat movement
five times= no seat movement

only five remotes can be programmed with the car, so if you only have one key and multiple drivers... then program the fob as key 4 or 5... and the seat will not move at all unless a door memory button is pressed...
