Default Called dealer today and they do not sell sport suspension (eibach springs) for the A6.

Granted I am in Canada but they said such a beast did not exist. I looked on the audiusa site and they list a sport suspension under accessories but it is only up to 2001 A6s. Mine's 03.

So my new question is, if I decide to go with the OEM sport setup what are my options besides used here in AW? I am very very leery about going with a used suspension as you can understand.

I also realize that being on warranty still for one more year, I should really have the dealer install and hopefully sell me the springs.

My search continues.......

I have a 2001 A6 2.7T I did H&R Springs with Koni shocks. Better package as the Koni's are adjustable. You can get the package from Tire Rack.

I think APR has a kit too but I don't know much about it. www.goapr.com

Yep, you definitely don't want to get that stuff from a dealer anyway. Talk to AWE or Purems.

Default That is becuase in 2002 the US models all had sport suspension, but in Canada...

there was still a sport package option for the 2.7T...but I cannot recall if your car is a 2.7T or a 3.0 since there is no info on your sig, and you have debadged your car.

That being said, why not just go with an aftermarket source of the Eibach springs? Are you looking to stay OEM???

Default I wouldn't be TOO leery of picking up a used suspension from the classifieds here.

A number of people on these forums have picked up used sport suspensions from other AW'ers. IMO, it's actually one of the big benefits of this community - being able to share with and trust others. So long as you can rustle up a set with relatively low miles on them, you'd be fine.

As far as Eibach springs are concerned, just do a google search and you'll find them all over the internet for $250 a set. Lots on ebay as well.

Default Not exactly...

The sport suspension became the standard (and only) offering on the 2.7T only, for MY'03. The 3.0 never had one, and the 4.2 had it as an option throughout the model run.

Not sure where the Canada comment came from, but while there are sometimes minor differences in the packages between the 2 countries I don't think this was one.

It's true that the Eibachs offered via the Audi Collection catalog only lists fitments through 2001, but it should be pretty easy to deduce whether or not they'll fit an '03. For the V6 cars, it appears that Eibach and H&R and Vogtland all show the same fitment pre- and post-facelift.

To Johnathan: I don't recall why you want new springs. If you have an '03 2.7T you already have the factory sport springs. Presumably you want to drop the car some more? If so and you do have the 2.7T, the change won't be quite as dramatic if you thought you had the non-sport setup.

Default Well, the Canada comment came from the historical model guide here...

which is what I based my comment on....although not as clearly now that I read it again. I was not sure if JR was 3.0 or 2.7T, but my comments about the Canadian cars still having the sport package as an option was based on this sheet below.

In 2002, the 2.7Ts all had sport suspensions as standard equipment...in the US.

2003 2.7T fact sheet

Default I'm one of the trusting souls...

I picked up a pre-owned '02 sport set-up (dampers and springs) w/25k for under $300.00. The seller shipped it to me, so I could see it's condition and check the numbers to insure that it was in fact the sport set-up. I know it's rare, but it was a great deal and a much improved ride and stance.

Jon: Pull the trigger and get either the CO's or Eibach Pro-System.

Default Isn't this for your wife's car? I'd go mild and check here for parts.
