ACNA Driving Event @ VIR: The most fun, informative, and exiting thing I have EVER done...
I'm dead serious, that was the best thing I've done thus far. I took a bunch of in-car video and my cohorts took a bunch of pictures, but it'll take some time for me to compose everything and post them.
Good seeing some familiar faces (usernames) there from the C5 forum, including Fairfax2.7 and Potomac2.7 in his gorgeous new Mercedes. My apologies guys for not visiting more, by I was so overwhelmed and my head is still spinning (was exhausted, but couldn't sleep last night at all).
This was my first driving event, and I regret not attending it prior. Anyone who is even remotely interested in attending, DO IT!! I learned more about my car and it's handling before even setting tires on the track...and I thought I knew it all abunt my A6. :P The three things the event was tough on were: tires, brakes, and fuel (I burnt close to 2 tanks just at the track/skidpad!!)
Thanks to all for strongly suggesting I sign up, and thanks to any/all who were there and helped make it a sucessful event. I WILL be back for a future event.
