Let me just say that I am in LOVE with the A6..I am looking for reasons just so I can drive it
It has been a little over 3 yrs since I sold my Avant..In the mean time I owned a GS400, A toyota MR2 Spyder and recently a new Honda Accord and None of those cars made me feel like the A6 does..
The GS400 was fun for a few days, the engine was awesome. But the car was numb to the core.
The Spyder was a lot of fun in the rain (unlimited oversteer) but in the dry was underpowered..
The Accord is just an A to B car..
I feel like I have driven the Powerful, the weekend fun and the Commute car and have made a circle and am back to the A6..
What the hell is with this car that it is so fun to drive, and I dont even have the sway bars , wheels , suspension yet..
All i can say is WAO.

I figured I shoudl place a positive, no complain and no problems post..to make up for all the problem ones we all post..
Enjoy your A6, I have driven it all..And the Audi wins hands down.

Well, I think the W124 series Mercedes comes pretty close. I've owned a 400E (totaled by a drunk driver), and currently own a cherry '91 300E that I inherited from my father. It is pristine and perfect...That car is my baby, and I'm going to be keeping it for as long as I possibly can. It only has 75K miles on it, and its going to easily go another 250K before I even have to think about any major repairs ...The only issue that those cars had was the head gasket material...I've already fixed that.
I've only owned my A6 for about two weeks now, and truth be told I bought it for a daily driver to keep the miles off my benz and to drive in the winter time without having to pay outrageous costs for gas in my 4x4, which has been relagated to being parked in the back yard, only to come out when I'm going to tow my boat or camper. I will say the A6 is growing on me every day I drive it, but it will always be second to my MB and my motorcycle, sorry...
