Default Do you want cheap or something that actually works?

Get the plain rotors from ECS (probably Zimmerman or ATE) and a set of Hawk HPS pads. You're looking at $400-450 in parts cost to do all 4 corners.

Avoid the temptation to cheap out on the pad with Mintex Redbox pads. They're cheap for a reason...

Cheers,

Default Hawk does make HPS pads for the HP2 calipers?

I had the same pads on my coupe, and would like them on the A6...but the HP2 calipers tend to make pad selection quite limited.

Also, I recall a two-piece rotor with stock dimensions for the A6...made by Stoptech, maybe.

Default Yup. I'm running them on my '01. They even have the correct pad wear sensor connector...

The 2 piece rotors are VERY expensive. Then you're locked into buying replacement rings from the same vendor (and hoping they don't discontinue selling them).

Default Cool! But ECS' site says...

"Includes 8 pads, 4 per side, No sensor wires. "
...for both the HPS and HP Plus pads.

And yea, I'll stick with solid rotors...for now. :P<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&amp;engine=2.7T&amp;mod el=C5%20A6&amp;submodel=Quattro&amp;category=Braki ng&amp;subcategory=Pads">ECS - C5 A6 Brakes</a></li></ul>

Default Brembos @ $73 ea.--->

I've used these guys twice... once for Brembo rotors, once for S4 OEM pads (two different cars).

100% satisfied both times.<ul><li><a href="http://replacement.autopartswarehouse.com/parts/autopartswarehouse/quote.jsp?year=2000&amp;product=N1000-105329&amp;application=000549610&amp;part=Brake%20 Disc&amp;dp=true">Here.</a></li></ul>

Pretty sure I don't see any HP2 rotors there.
