A few shots of my new wheels.....And a little story about my purchase...(Kinda Long)
. Definitely glad I got a CPO'd car though, otherwise we're talking thousands of dollars in repairs
. I put on my brakes about a week after I bought the car, and my mechanic told me my tie rod ends and control arms were shot. I took the car in and had them replace that(3 weeks). Drove the car to Mammoth, and my headlight washers broke, realized my heated seats weren't working right, and noticed that my transmission has a weird slip in second. When I'm in second at about 1/3 throttle is when you notice it the most. The car revs to about 3K then falls off to about 28-2900 and then grabs again and it's fine through the entire revs after that. Do you other guys with 4.2's have any of this in your tranny's? Anyway, went into the dealer and told them about all these issues and had them fix my heated seat, headlight washers, and check the Trans. Picked up the car after another 2 weeks and they fixed everthing but the slip. They apparently don't drive the cars after they supposedly fix them as it was very apparent that the tranny was doing the same thing. They said they fixed it with a transmission flush, whatever. Anyway, third time there they finally decided to replace the Tranny. Well what do you know, It still does the slip! I told the shop forman that I didn't want to install my wheels or suspension in fear that they wouldn't fix my car. At this point he said don't worry about it, put on your parts and next time we'll replace the Control Module. I really hope this works this time! I must admit that they have been very good to me, but man this slip is kinda driving me crazy! Here are those pics.<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/102632/jlines_001.jpg">
