Default Dull rattle after installing H-Sports

There is a dull rattle sound in the right rear corner of the car after installing H-Sport sway bars. It seems to happen when the left wheel hits a bump but the right one is on flat ground.

Is this normal or is there a problem in the installation?

Nothing should rattle. Check all bolts.

Default Def check al connections/bolts. And someone once mounted an H-sport upside down...

...it caused either a rattle or clunk, I forget. :P

Default Yeah, if you can crawl up under the rear of the car....

look for the sticker in the middle of the rear bar. The "H-Sport" letters should be right-side-up. If they are upside-down, the bar was NOT installed properly.

Default I just installed mine. It's very important to keep the weight of the vehicle on the tires.

You will need to jack it up anyways, but put blocks under the tires, or use those "pep boys ramps".

I had to use tin snips to get some clearance at the plastic belly pan on the front.

H-Sport labels should be rightside up , unless there is some wiseguy in their shipping departent.

You probably got it right but just in case.

Default Yeah, good point, the sways MUST be installed under load, so if the installer used a lift...

where the wheels hang down, they are likely not installed properly. Have them retorque everything via ramps or drive-on lift.

Default Just talked to the installer and he says it was installed under load.

He suggested there might be a small clearance issue. Im going to drop the car by next week for him to take a look.

Default Sounds like the bar is too close to the plastic undercarriage shield....

and they are hitting each other over long suspension excursions. Mine did that on my S6. I needed to trim the plastic back a tiny bit. Also possible that they didn't reinstall the plastic shield tightly and it is rattling by itself.
