Default Opinions on upgrading to A6 Sport suspension or S6 supension and H-Sports

I've been reading alot of posts on suspension set-ups for my 04 4.2 non-sport. My goals are these:
1) Decrease body roll in turns
2) Lower the car slightly (1" or so)
3) Moderately increase ride stiffness without giving up much of the luxury ride to pass the wife test

It looks like a good set up would be the OEM sport suspension or S6 suspension with H-Sports. I'm interested in your opinions on this set up and good places to purchase.

HR Coilovers or KW Variant Coilovers and H-sport sway bars or even a RS6 sway bar

Default I upgraded my "non-sport" A6 to a "OEM sport" w/H-sports and it's now like night & day...

nice 3/4"+ drop and a firm responsive ride. And it still cruises nice and smooth on the highway, w/no harshness. And best of all, no warranty issues, when it was still CPO.

Exactly the updgrade I'm planning based on what I hear about the $/payback of the H-Sports.

Default I need to price out the work with BD's favorite installer...

That will determine just when I do this. Juggling a busy schedule and some unanticipated expenses these days so I may hold off a little but, but if the price is right, I'll move quickly.

Will definitely keep the forum posted on when it happens.

BTW, I second BD's vote to go with the black trim. More subtle and closer to OEM than the chrome.

Default I LOVE the OEM sport setup with H-sport sways!!!

I previously had a 2.7T with H&R coilovers and H-sports, and now have the 4.2 with OEM sport suspension and H-sports. I think this is the ideal setup. However, NEW OEM sport suspension components are pricey, and you might as well go with aftermarket. Every now and then a used sport suspension setup appears in classified ads, but not that often.

I would highly recommend the coilovers due to their adjustability...you can dial in the ride height. Too low, raise it. You can't do that with lowering springs.
