Okay, which sounds like it would look better (re-badging, not badgers, question)?

Default Okay, which sounds like it would look better (re-badging, not badgers, question)?

1) get a 2.8 badge, cut out the "." to make 28, add that to the right of my existing 1.8T

2) get a newer 1.8T badge with the red T. Source the 2.8 badge from the old Cavalier Z24 before it moved to the 3.1. Yes this sounds crazy, BUT that 2.8 was written in red...could add that to the red "T" from a newer badge, and i suspect the 2.8 would be slighly smaller than the T, which would look good. Downside to this is that my local Audi dealer charges freakin $15.23 for the red T alone!

3) Give up in futility, go to Pepboys, but a TYPE R sticker, and "BOOST INSIDE" sticker, and put them on my car at 45 degree angles.

Options, opinions welcome. If anyone knows of 2.8 numbers used in other cars, please let me know.

Ya its a slow Friday, at least im contributing to AW you lazy non-posting slacked jawed yokels

BTW WYSIWYG, you didn't tell me those titanium ricer bulbs were 6 bucks apiece!! I thought 6 for 2...they better be worth it

Cheers,
Sameer

Get rid of the 1.8 (I know, sacrilege to some.) and go with the simple T28 in chrome.

Default Magic Marker!

I was thinking the Red "T" from the newer 1.8T's, + the 28 from the A4 2.8's. I don't like the Cavalier thing at all (and I know exactly which one you're referring to). Can you get Alcantara badges? Mmmmmmmmmmmmm...alcantaraaaaaaaaa! :-)

I think you should take of the 1.8T but keep the T and add a 28 to it from a 2.8 badge

I agree with the others... Just T28, no 1.8

Default Buy the Type-R sticker, but put it at a 270 DEGREE ANGLE!! EXTREME!!!

....actually, I was thinking about debadging my car this weekend. Ya think a 99.5 would have much of a shadow under there?

If it does, what would you recommend for re-attachment?

Why not just put T28 and do away with the engine designation completely?

Stick with current T lose the 1.8, and have 28 (from2.8) beside it, class and clean
