Does adjusting the dampening on Koni shocks affect ride height?
I'm trying to figure out why the hell I have a 2 finger gap up front and a 3 finger gap in the back with my APR/Koni setup. It's been a few days since the install so it should be totally settled by now. The only thing I can think of at this point is the difference in stiffness setting between front and rear. Any advice appreciated.

Zero effect on static ride height...esp on Konis which are non gas and therefore have no shock
pre-load behaviors unlike the bils...which is maybe 10 lbs at the most.
What you've got is probably the APR roll out of control springs ;-) which really don't seem to leave the car that low...I think they were a bit conservative with the placement of the car, too low and you start having serious problems with the control arms hitting stuff etc.

Hrm, that sucks. Time to call APR and think about a refund methinks.
I stayed away from the H&Rs because of issues I've read here about wildly varied heights within sets of springs. At least my APRs are the same heights in front and in back. Any other suggestions? Stasis? Neuspeed?

How low is your car?
My suspension setup is also APR springs and Koni Sports, and it's right around 2 finger gaps all around. I personally really like the setup for how I use the car, but if I was to replace the suspension I might go with coilovers for maximum adjustability. Particularly useful when tracking the car. Ask Mark Bradford about his setup. I really liked it when I rode in his car, and it handles incredibly.

I'm at like 1 finger front and back...with 500 lbs/inch front and 550 lbs/inch rear...and mo fo is rubbin a hole in my fender liner :-( Sooo this weekend among other things on my list of chit to do is to raise the car up another 0.25" or so.
